SonarX Now Supports Arc, Circle's Layer 1 for Stablecoin Finance
Arc, Circle's EVM-compatible Layer 1 with USDC as gas, is now live on SonarX: indexed history from genesis, real-time coverage, and enriched token and DEX data.
Arc Data Now Live on SonarX
Arc data is now live on SonarX. Arc is Circle’s Layer 1 for stablecoin finance: an EVM-compatible chain that runs Reth for execution, reaches deterministic finality in under one second on Malachite, a Tendermint-family BFT engine, and uses USDC as its native gas token, so fees are quoted in dollars. Its validator set is a proof-of-authority cohort of regulated institutions. The founding validators announced alongside Circle include BlackRock, DTCC, Galaxy, Global Payments, ICE, Mastercard, MoneyGram, SBI Group, Standard Chartered, Sumitomo Corporation and Visa. Public mainnet opened on 16 September 2026.
A chain built for payments, tokenized assets and onchain FX carries the data requirements institutions already have: accurate pricing, complete transaction history, reliable asset metadata. SonarX indexes Arc’s complete history from genesis and stays live at the tip, giving builders, analysts and institutions production-grade data across every block.
Two Arc specifics matter for anyone reading its data. USDC is both the gas token and an ERC-20: one balance behind two interfaces, native with 18 decimals and token with 6. And the base fee is paid to the block beneficiary rather than burned, so fee accounting differs from Ethereum.
